It is really good. I was surprised at what I learned about Jewish life during the high middle ages in Ashkenaz. I highly recommend it.Elisheva Hannah Levinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16061377724926154037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6059095776066394557.post-71091190178857021612009-10-10T10:28:55.725-06:002009-10-10T10:28:55.725-06:00I see in the background of your picture The Fruit ...I see in the background of your picture The Fruit of her Hands. I hadn't heard of that one yet so I checked it out on Amazon. Looks very good, especially as I've just finished reading Maggie Anton's trilogy about Rashi's daughters.jacsuzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774370223859476187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6059095776066394557.post-47714369647767357222009-10-09T11:45:46.357-06:002009-10-09T11:45:46.357-06:00Stephanie, I enjoyed Parallel Play very much. Fortunately, I am reasonably functional. But normal? Well, I can act that way. I will keep an eye out for that. Margaret Atwood and Karen Armstrong sound promising too, of course. My favorite by Margaret Atwood is A Handmaid's Tale, and I've read A History of God by Karen Armstrong and found it fascinating. I need to catch up on my book reviews, too (among other things). Right now I'm thoroughly enjoying Parallel Play: Growing Up With Undiagnosed Asperger's by Tim Page.Stephaniehttp://starkravingbibliophile.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
